Slumber Party at the Farm

My girls invited three other girls to have a slumber party at their Grandparents house this weekend. One of the girls they invited was their cousin. : ) They had such a great time. Yesterday afternoon, we took off for the 25 mile journey to my parents farm, and had pizza and salad for dinner, to the delight of the girls. I did notice a couple of girls scraping black olives off their pizza slice. LOL

They played outside for a long time, then came in and sang some Hannah Montana songs on the kareoke player. Mom and I took them for a starlight walk in their pj's. We got far away from the house and could see the little dipper and some other star formations that I recognized. Priya was running in the dark at one point and fell down and got a tiny rock lodged in her palm. I had to get that out, and she is fine now. They got their sleeping bags out on the floor in the living room and watched tv and played on the DS games that a couple of them had.

In the morning, they had eggs and cinnamon rolls, and then went for another walk. They came back and watched cartoons, then played outside again. They had a great time. Only one girl got a tick, and there were no snake bites. LOL.
I drove them back to the city around 11:30am, and they were VERY quiet in the van. I think one was sleeping, while the others were playing on the games.

Finally, I met two of the moms at Chickfila so we could have a cold drink and some fries. The slumber party was a success, and they all want to do it again next weekend. But I don't. LOL.
