Count Down for my national licensing test!

Well the time has now come for me to take my national licensing test for Massage Therapy. Saturday April 2nd, at 12:30 central standard time (US). So if anyone prays or meditates, I would appreciate your kind thoughts as I enter the last week of studying and eventual test taking.

I am highly nervous, as I would have liked to have spent the last weekend studying, but alas I had company.

At the testing site, I will learn if I passed or failed on the spot (PASS!!). Then I will have my temporary license to print from the website two weeks later. At that point I can begin to work, should I have a job. I will set up my resume shortly after the test, and intensely start looking for a job. By the time I can print off my temporary license, I will have a job!

So again, your prayers, thoughts or meditation. I will take them all!

End of weekend...

Well, the visit with my friends went great. I have had a larger family visiting before...a homeschooling family of 9 from Washington State (plus us), so this was easy!

My friends were going to stay in a hotel Saturday night so we could all go swimming, but when they got there to check in, the indoor pool was all drained. So they came back and stayed in the guest house one more night.

Sunday we decorated 36 eggs, and the kids had a ball! Poor Priya was having a temper tantrum when we decorated the eggs, so she had to take a nap, and missed out on it all. She felt MUCH better afterwards tho, so it was very much worth her losing out on the egg deco's.

I made pea peace pasta parmasan salad for my contribution to the Sunday Easter dinner at my sister in law and brothers house, and my friend Sara made Mango Salsa, and a Cheese ball (with chips).
We went over to their house around 2pm to eat, and there were 12 children total. Even tho Sara's children had never met the other kids, they jumped right in and started playing.

Finally the time came for my friends to depart, and it was sad. The rain was pouring down, and we ran out to their van to wave them off anyway. If my Volvo continues to run, we will be at their house next month for their adoption party.

Pictures to follow.....
