For various reasons, I couldn't go on the BoyChoir trip this past weekend, as I have in the past two years. I was really apprehensive about it because Ravi hasn't traveled very often without me. With all of the other parents promising to take care of him if needed, and my sister and her husband coming to see him as they aren't far from where they traveled (middle TN) he left on last Friday afternoon.
A group of 20 boys and many parents and chaperones, they ate and sang their way through this trip, and arrived home on Sunday evening.
I got a few pictures of the boys from this trip, and this is one. Ravi is in the back row, to the left side. Only Indian kid. They had gone on the annual hike, which has been very famous for getting the group LOST! I was with them on one such occassion, and ended up having to climb up a straight line wall, by grasping onto the roots of the trees exposed. I surely didn't miss that. But my climbing and rappelling experience came into play at the time. Hope you enjoy the photo!
