Still haven't heard a thing about my license. I went by my school and asked if I should call, and they said, "NO!". So I wait.
I have a ball of recycled plastic bag "yarn". It was fairly easy to cut. Once I have knitted it, I will share a picture of the bag. I think I will give it to my sister. She likes recycled things too!
Poor Priya! Since the moment she was in my care, she has been an active explorer. Tonight she put her thumb in a tiny hole in her booster seat tonight. I was helping Lakshmi at the moment and heard skrieks coming from the dining room. By the time I got there, she had got it out, but not without hurting her thumb, and causing it to turn red and swell up. I iced it, then slathered it with Arnica Ointment. By bed time she was feeling better, but when she layed down, she cried again because she sucks her right thumb at bedtime, and it hurt too much to suck. She sucked her left thumb instead, and I think this MAY be the start of her weaning from her thumb. Sadly, she had to hurt herself to get to this place.
Lakshmi also had a right thumb injury last week when she stuck her thumb in the bathroom door just as I was closing it. She also isn't sucking her right thumb. However, with Lakshmi the urge to suck must have been with her since she was inside her birth mothers tummy. When I got Lakshmi, she could suck both thumbs at the same time by laying straight out and putting her thumbs under her mouth! LOL!
Today, and for the next few days, I will be job searching. I went today but it wasn't fruitful. I will take practically anything at this time. Apparently all the college and highschool kids are filling the work force right now. Tomarrow I go to apply (AGAIN) for child support.
