Halloween is always an adventure at our house, and this year was no different. A week ago, we all (including the kids dad) went to get Halloween costumes. That was an adventure in itself, and I promised myself I am going to be a "mama" cow next year. The costume I saw at Walmart was hilarious, including 4 big milking teats!
Ravi is nine year old, and sadly was really into all the scary costumes, like "scream" ect! Lakshmi was checking out the princess costumes big time, and Priya was a fickle as a pickle! At one point she wanted to be a witch (it was a GREAT costume) then she wanted to be a boy Ninja. Then she wanted to be a clown, then she wanted to be a ghost and then a clown again and I said...CLOWN you will be! PHEW! The kids dad didn't buy a costume for the girls and I felt bad for them, but he is the one who promised! Next year he won't get away with that! The girls will not forgive him!
Well, we did both Trunk or Treat at the kids school, and we did Halloween last night. Trunk or Treat was fun, and I think the costumes were the best because they weren't rushed. Ravi by the way, lost the right to do the whole Halloween thing because he punched the wall several times during a temper tantrum. : (
