In an attempt to keep up with my friends and also to bag a little blog money, I am bringing back to life my old blog.
Just as an update, the kids are 11, 7 and 7 now!
Hard to believe that yesterday the girls were climbing up on high things to get the sissors...oh those dreadful days when Priya loved cutting Lakshmi's hair!
Even though they are not 2 or 3 anymore, I still see some toddler behavior arise from my pre-teen Ravi, who embarrassed himself recently by repeating every thing I said. I finally said, FART, and he repeated it, turning beat red. I don't know why the ankle biters do these things, but they just do!
Okay, more seriously, my kids are fantastic. They are doing all kinds of amazing things. Ravi is singing in a BoyChoir, and traveling around the south with the choir. He has a beautiful voice by the way.
The girls are horse crazy, and I think I have rented every Saddle Club video, and they beg for more. Today they opened up their Breyer Model Horse paint sets, and Priya got the base coat on the first horse. Lakshmi is all set up to start in the morning. I left all the paint out, and the newspaper taped to the kitchen table. She nearly cried tonight before bedtime because she wanted to have hers done already. It is supposed to be for kids 8 and above, but they are going to do theirs anyway. Priya has chosen a Buckskin paint recipe, and Lakshmi has chosen a Dun paint recipe. I'll include photos of this after I load them up later.
By the way, we got two Russian hamsters (Roboisnky's sp?) and the kids named them Robo and Bobo. Check out this short soundless video!
