Home-made Holidays

Thought I would post again as I haven't in about six months. Thanksgiving is on Thursday and I have been thinking about gift giving this holiday. I don't have the money to spend alot this year on the kids, and so I am making gifts again.

I found some cute Barbie outfits I could knit and knitted one. It's cute. I got so inspired, I think I'm going to knit both girls entire sets of outfits.

This weekend I knitted a skirt and scarf for one of the dolls. As soon as Lakshmi got home, she and Priya played with Lakshmi's Indian barbie, and even pulled out some things I made last year with the machine, including their doll bed. I'm going to surprise them with a home-made barbie sofa too. I may not have alot of money, but I have time and talent and yarn.
