Earthworms mean the soil is good...another great homeschooling moment!





Look what we found! This has got to be the largest earthworm we have ever seen. I measured it and it is about 7 inches long. It was longer than Priya's whole hand! It would lift up it's head like a snake, so the girls were screaming and laughing. Finally Priya told Lakshmi to be quiet because she was scaring the worm! LOL


This is the beauty of homeschooling. We can discover the joys of outdoor life on any day!

Holy smokes! That thing is huge! Are you sure you don't live in the Amazon because worms don't get that big up in the north (although we do get enormous slugs).

Your kids look like they are having a great time, too.

Yes, it's a biggee! LOL. We let it go back to it's habitat. If we weren't vegetarians, it would have made a good meal. Ha ha!

Dd2, the one who is holding the worn, LOVES worms. She brings them in to me constantly.
