The kids and I celebrated Priya's 7th year of being in our family today starting with home made cinnamon rolls, and ending with her request, spaghetti! Normally we have Indian food on gotcha days, but we had some last night, and she wanted something different.
Before she goes to bed, we will have a taste of some cake and icecream, and sing "Oh Happy Adoption Day" to her. It always brings me tears when I sing that song. No matter how many times I've already sung it, it chokes me up!
