Our hosting family and Earthday Festival

I took the kids last night to meet the family who will be hosting us until we move. The kids hit it off very well. There will be Alex 13, Ravi 9, Micheal 9, Ashley 8, Lakshmi 5 and Priya 5, plus moms ages 38 and 41. Before we pulled out of the drive way, Priya was telling me that she would be sleeping in Ashleys room. Well, I let her know that absolutely not would she be sleeping with Ashley! LOL! WE will all be in one room, mama and the girls on one bed, and Ravi on the mattress on the floor! The kids were out the door playing outside together within minutes of us getting there. The two moms have alot in common, and she is obviously going to be very helpful to me with the problems I am having with x. She was divorced 6 years ago.

One of her best snippets of advice was to meet with x at the local police department to exchange the kids, to reduce bad behaviour by x. Now why didn't I think of that???? She has many more, and perhaps when my personal situation is more structured and I am not having problems with x, then I will post them here for any women dealing with abusive husbands or x's.

I have signed up for a booth at Earthday in a nearby city. I will be the ONLY massage therapist there! The organizer told me that I will make "boo-koo" money! Yeah! I have no problem with that! The festival is coming up in two weeks. The kids are so excited. I plan to take sunscreen as I will be working for HOURS! I plan to charge $1 per minute of massage for chair massage. My table will stay in my office, since I don't think many will want a full body massage on this day. The poor printer is going to be overworked for the next two days to keep up with my business cards and such.
